Every day, accompanied by a guide, you can enter the Saint-Jean mine. You will experience a unique adventure on an exciting journey into the mountain, through the chalcopyrite mine, and into the history of Ollomont and the Aosta Valley.
Meeting point and start of the visit: 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM at the Ollomont Mines Infopoint (the visit lasts approximately 2 hours).
Minors must be accompanied (the site is accessible to children over the age of 5).
Visitor information
The temperature in the mine is 7 degrees Celsius. Visitors should equip themselves with: sneakers or hiking boots, a jacket, and long pants. The helmet with a headlamp is provided by the guides.
